That's what WSFS Financial Corporation's charitable giving arm, the WSFS CARES Foundation, says in a press release about its grants and donations to community organizations in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey in 2022.
Per the release, more than $2.4 million in grants and donations were made to more than 30 organizations in those three states.
Among the recipients: Brighter Horizon Foundation, which provides high school students in Pennsylvania with the opportunity to pursue a four-year college degree or a career in the trades; Food Bank of South Jersey, which provides food to people in need in New Jersey; and the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence in Delaware.
"Our wrap-around services include academic support, tuition so each Scholar graduates debt-free, housing, meals, transportation, books; strategic and consistent mentorship, life-skills and professional development, financial literacy, and now vital mental health services," says Yvette Bright, president and CEO of Brighter Horizon Foundation.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
