An Italian-Yamaji opera, an intercultural hip-hop street dance, and a repurposed car wreck are just a few of the projects getting funding from Australia's government.
The projects, funded through the country's Community Participation and Inclusion Program, "will provide employment for local arts practitioners across regional and remote Western Australia," the state's culture minister says in a press release.
The 12 projects, which will receive $904,960 in funding, "will be increasing social inclusion and access to arts and culture," the minister adds.
They'll include "art and culture to connect generations," the minister says.
