A Pennsylvania nonprofit that helps people with addiction and mental health issues has received a $25,000 grant from the state, My Chester reports.
State Rep.
Chris Pielli was on hand to present the check to Justice Rain Inc.
in West Chester.
“This is state government at work helping neighbors who are trying to help themselves and lead productive lives within our community,” Pielli said.
Havilah House provides affordable housing and addiction treatment for women in Chester County, according to a press release.
The nonprofit also offers educational services.
“These services equip residents with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead a healthy, productive life post-rehabilitation,” the press release states.
