"We find joy in bringing dreams to life and witnessing the fulfillment of needs," Michael Stone tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"If we don't take the lead, who will? Setting an example means investing in what we love and cherish."
The Georgia man and his wife, Andrea, are the latest to do just that, donating $10 million to the University of West Georgia, the Journal-Constitution reports.
The money will be used to establish the Michael and Andrea Stone Marching Wolves of West Georgia, the school's first-ever Marching Wolves sponsor, as well as to support other student activities.
"Everyone has their own journey, and mine was inspired by the arts," Andrea tells the Journal-Constitution.
"Through the arts, we speak a universal language because it connects us all."
