The town of Bellows Falls, Vt., is known for its small-town charm and old-time charm, but it's in danger of losing that charm, the Caledonian Record reports.
According to a press release from the town, it's in danger of becoming a ghost town thanks to a series of events that have turned the once-thriving village into a ghost town.
The Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development, the Preservation Trust of Vermont, and the Vermont Arts Council have been holding back-to-back "Vermont Downtown and Historic Preservation Conference" events in the town.
The purpose of the conferences is to celebrate efforts to revitalize Vermont communities, Vermont Business Magazine reports.
According to the press release, these back-to-back events were made possible by a partnership between the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development, Preservation Trust of Vermont, and Vermont Arts Council.
