A rehab facility in Jackson, Mich., is getting a major boost in state funding.
Andy's Place, which provides affordable housing and addiction treatment for those in need, has received about $3 million in funding support from the 2025 Michigan state budget, reports NBC Detroit.
The money will be used to expand the facility's services, including adding 26 new apartments and adding an on-site recovery center.
The project, which opened last year, is the result of a 2010 state law that authorized the development of affordable housing for people suffering from substance abuse, reports the Jackson Citizen Patriot.
