An Indiana community foundation is getting a big boost from the Lilly Endowment thanks to a hefty donation from Eli Lilly and Co., the Indianapolis Star reports.
The Community Foundation of Noble County received a $750,000 grant from the Lilly Endowment as part of its Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow initiative.
"This partnership exemplifies the profound difference we can make when we join forces to support our community's greatest needs and aspirations," the foundation's executive director says.
The grants, totaling $133.8 million, will be awarded to community foundations in all 92 of Indiana's counties.
